Analytics

So Sketchy sends stats to TelemetryDeck only if you say yes when the app first asks. Those stats cover how you use the app and the purchases you make, along with crashes, errors and performance. They also include app and device details such as your device model, OS version, region and language, and each install sends its own random ID with them.

You can change your answer in the app's settings, and turning stats off stops anything more from being sent. Anything that's already been sent is kept with no set deletion date. Because it isn't tied to your name, email or Apple Account, we can't pick out your past records to delete them. Reset Data in the app gives this install a new random ID.

TelemetryDeck has to protect that data the way this policy and Apple's privacy rules require.

Your data

If you want to delete the game's data, open Settings in the game and go to Privacy. Reset Data (This Device) clears this device, while Reset Across All Devices also clears iCloud, so each of your other devices clears the next time you open the game on it. Either reset gives that device a new analytics ID, but it doesn't delete analytics we've already received, and it never touches your purchases.

Content reports

Content reports go out by email from your own mail account, so a report carries your email address. Each one includes the reason you type, along with the round ID, how many guesses were made, and the app version and build. Once the word has been revealed, the report includes the word and its word pack too. The drawing is attached only if you say yes when the app asks, and you're free to send the report without it. We use reports to review what was reported.

We keep report emails in the support inbox, and if you'd like one deleted, email [email protected] from the address that sent it.

Tracking

Nothing in So Sketchy tracks activity in other apps or on websites.
